About Shane Roddy
Shane Roddy founded EIT Services in 2019 to give businesses, nonprofits, and growing organizations a technology partner that takes ownership of outcomes—not simply support tickets. His work spans managed technology operations, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity-minded systems, vendor coordination, modernization projects, and strategic technology planning.
Based in Chesapeake, Virginia, Shane combines practical engineering experience with business leadership and community service. His approach is grounded in understanding how an organization operates, communicating clearly, protecting critical systems, and remaining accountable after implementation.
Leadership at EIT Services
As founder, Shane established EIT Services around three operating principles: business-first technology decisions, disciplined engineering, and end-to-end accountability. The company supports growing businesses, multi-site organizations, nonprofits, and internal technology teams that need additional depth for critical operations or complex initiatives.
His responsibilities include technology strategy, infrastructure architecture, security and continuity planning, partnerships, project execution, and aligning technical investments with measurable organizational needs.
Current Work
In addition to leading EIT Services, Shane serves as a Member and Chief Technology & Infrastructure Officer of Praetorian Fund. He helps evaluate and advance technology, infrastructure, and strategic development initiatives through technical diligence, systems planning, and collaboration with public- and private-sector partners.
Community and Humanitarian Service
Shane’s service work includes nonprofit board and committee leadership, technology donations, international mission support, rural school connectivity, and civic participation in Chesapeake. He serves on the Chesapeake Land Bank Authority Citizen Advisory Committee and has supported Montero Medical Missions, Hero Kids Foundation, and other community organizations.
